East Flatbush Early Childhood Center

The East Flatbush Early Childhood Center is a preschool community program located in the East Flatbush section of Brooklyn. The majority of our staff resides in the larger neighborhood and are typically bilingual, speaking both Haitian Creole and English. We have a large, diverse group of talented special educators and clinicians who provide a warm, nurturing environment in which our young students thrive. Our classrooms are rich in technology, literacy based programs, and visual supports. We utilize a standardized preschool curriculum and the Department of Education (DOE) scope and sequence in the development of our lessons. We also offer a variety of parent workshops to reinforce classroom learning in the home.
