Earth Camp

Earth Camp takes place at the Staten Island Museum on the grounds of Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Gardens. Earth Campers study pond life, investigate animal tracks, learn about plants and insects, and so much more. Campers explore local wetlands and woodlands on walking trips to nearby green spaces in addition to building science skills and connecting with the natural world through the Museum’s collections and hands on STEAM activities in the galleries. Each camper receives a personal field discovery kit including a scientific journal to record daily observations.
